Atlanta season 3 is meandering, implosive and weird — and we need more TV like it

  1. I enjoyed your article although I couldn’t read all of it as I’ve only seen the first episode of season 3 yet. Gotta add some insight on 3.1 – I’m certain it’s about Darius. The boy doesn’t only look exactly like him, it also rings some bells as to Darius’ general character and story-line, or absence thereof. He’s found a friend who values and protects him, which is why he’ll never leave Al’s side. Also, he is constantly experimenting in the kitchen, coming up with cookies and trying recipes he’s encountered in his dreams. After the traumatic experience with tha white ladies’ nasty food, he must have decided he needs to develop his own coping skills.
